Project manager of the year award

Morton Hodson's Jim Miller won a Regional Interim Management Award for project management when he integrated the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging companies of Norsk Hydro into Alcans European packaging division. There were 13 sites in 7 countries and the brief was to plan and drive the execution of the project to the agreed timescale and budget. The project was completed one month early with costs 0.5m under budget and gave synergy savings 0.8m ahead of target.
